Bailing out the BANKSTERS with 12.6 TRILLION DOLLARS had to be done IMMEDIATELY to get CREDIT flowing and avoid Financial ARMAGGEDON....

Yet, afterwords NO REAL and MEANING actions to actually FIX the SOURCE of the Problem....and the Banksters....Got MORE AND BIGGER BONUSES for "Failure"...

The STIMULUS had to be done IMMEDIATELY to create jobs and keep unemployment below 8%...

MOST of the jobs 'saved' were state GOVERNMENT employees whose jobs were endangered by REDUCING TAX revenue from JOBS GOING OVERSEAS...

Again NOTHING to fix the SOURCE of the PROBLEM....Jobs going overseas, in fact, much of this money is DESIGNED to create more OVERSEAS JOBS instead of TRUELY creating local jobs

Nothing surprising here, Obama has the Overseas Jobs Guy in his cabinet....

This is particularly disgusting on the Democratic side, mainly because the Democratic Party is supposed to be the party of the little guy, and of fairness. Instead, it is becoming the party of Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) – the former investment banker and NAFTA architect who is cravenly trying to protect the moneyed interests that have underwritten his political career by playing to the ugliest societal instincts. The whole debate is about how much or little to punish undocumented workers - rather than about how to punish the moneyed interests that are abusing all workers, undocumented or otherwise.

Clearly, illegal immigration is a serious issue that needs to be addressed – but simply bashing illegal immigrants or proposing punitive measures against them doesn’t go the root problem, nor will it solve the issue.

But then, perhaps neither party wants to get to the root of the problem. Maybe both parties want a scapegoat to take take heat off the interests writing the big campaign checks. That would be a real tragedy, especially considering polls show that the American public is ready to embrace the kind of populist power-challenging politics that would be required to beef up wage/workplace safety enforcement and reform our globalization policies so that they lift up all workers, rather than crushing them and exacerbating the illegal immigration problem.

NAFTA was Rahm’s baby, and his reward was the congressional seat he now holds. He recruits Republicans for Democratic seats because he knows they will be reliable votes for the trade- and corporate-friendly legislation he promotes (drill down into the immigration bill he put forward through his puppet Heath Shuler and you’ll find yet another corporate boondoggle to privatize/raid more of the public sphere through the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security that the taxpayers underwrite). He’s a portrait of everything Naomi Klein warns about, and to do his dirty work he needs a convenient scapegoat for his narrative that immigrants serve well.

Be it skin color or religion...
The Republicans 'boogeyman' is the "Other", the "Outsider", those that are 'different'...
They use this FEAR to start and maintain Permanant War....
Fear of the Son's of Abraham Muslim brothers...
The 'idea' is that 'we' can defeat the 'others'

Permanant War - voted for and support by the Democratic PARTY...

But as low as the Republicans go, the Democrats go lower...

The Democrats 'boogeyman' is Your OWN BODY.....

The FEAR MONGERING going on by the Democrats to separate you from your money is that YOUR OWN BODY will turn against you and DESTROY you with a SLOW and PAINFUL death...

And ONLY passing a 3,000 page 'health reform' will save you...

So now we have a Military Industrial Complex on the Red side and a Medical Industrial Complex on the Blue side...

And you know what the same Corporatist who build and supply tools for the Military build for the Medical as well.

FEAR is the primary CAMPAIGN tool to separate Citizens from their money voluntarily through our 'volutary tax system'....

All the FALSE FLAG operations generated by the Red TEAM/Blue TEAM game is just a diversion to keep from holding EITHER side of the PARTY accountable, by blaming it on the other side of the PARTY...

All the while furthering the Corporatism of America...

There seems to be a concerted effort to make the Average America live in a state of perpetual anxiety about everything from personal hygiene through global “terrorism” (Oh My!  Lions and tigers and bears – Oh My!! …)  

I wonder if the populations of Europe, or South America, or Asia live in constant generated anxiety.  No, really.   I wonder what they think of the American fraidy cats.

But as you point out in other posts....without agitators holding government in check and responsible ALL forms lead to tyranny.

And as you point out here, agitators are never held in high esteem by those beholding the status quo...
