I think that is time for the Voice of Arizona to drop two of their hosts for the sake of the progressive voters and the majority of listeners of this station. Their bias attitudes to the progressive party and the Democratic candidates.. We don't need the crap of John "insane" McCain's attitude of stay the George Bush course and the heck with the Americans who care for our country. It is time to turn the boat around and stop going in the wrong direction. We have stopped and asked for directions. We need to turn the direction of our country toward the majority of Americans in this country. It is time to get even with (figurative speeching) the one percent richest Americans or/and corporations who have been gouging the other 99%. To stay the course will finish the country and plunge this country into the third world realm. I would rather hear Mike and Leonard then the other two neocons you have on this show. Bring back the power to the people; bring back our country to the 99% people I call Americans.
Time to change host for the sake of the show and progressive.

Feb. 24, 2008 at 06:04:15 PM Postal idot - it would be better than neocrap... View this Comment Why don't you go on the show William "the weak hearted"? If "Majority of Americans" wanted one of your idiot demos in office then they would be there. You're showing what most demos are right now, and that's fear. Fear to lose again and to be on the sidelines whining and crying for another 8 years. Lol, damn you guys are all alike, just ask that R.D. dude. He must be grounded from the comp for the weekend or he'd be right next to you flapping his mouth about all those things that you demos can't do s*** about. When will you wake up and realize how lucky you are to have a Republican in the seat and another one on the way? |

| William, There is a fine line between wanting to hear something you like and trying to silence the opposition. The station has 166 hours of liberal programming in a week and two in which the other side gets to sit at the table. That means the liberal point of view is represented 98.9% of the time. Now, many people on the left desire the Fairness Doctrines return which would force both liberal on conservative stations to allow for "equal time". What this would mean to your station of choice which if 1480 KPHX a progressive talk station is 83 more hours a week of me. Do you really want 83 more hours of me each week? I can do it, don't get me wrong, but I think you would lose what little is left of your mind. Perhaps in light of this new information you will be more supportive of the meager 2 hours per week that you have to suffer through having me there. Thank you for calling in today. As always we take all callers on the show and enjoy your input. |

| AA. Where is the 2 hours a week for liberals on KFYI? Anyway, this radio gig has turned into your wet dream. You get to spout off at will without much resistance. I am sure that if 1480 had any money at all, they would yank the new VofAZ show off the air because it doesn't fit the progressive views they are known for. And yeah Michelle, I am talking to you. When you said that you hoped that Russert asks Obama about REPARATIONS for Blacks (of all things), I threw up my hands and turned off the radio. My God, we have a never ending war. And a Republican candidate that wants to extend it 100 years and have more wars! We have a President who has okayed torture. We are being wiretapped without a warrant. We are being lied to on a daily basis. Every damned day there is something new that comes up. And you bring up REPARATIONS for blacks??!!! WTF. Very disappointing. |

| William, if you dislike the format of the show perhaps you shouldn't tune in. You were put on the air despite your disrespectful attitude toward Average American's views. There other callers who could have been put on in your place but it is the Voice of Arizona show. Indie616, all you hear on 1480 KPHX is anti-Bush rhetoric and talk about torture, unwarranted wiretapping, the Iraq War and everything in between that you dislike about this administration. The new show covered impeachment last week and will give time to those and other issues. You said Average American gets to "spout off at will without much resistance." Really? If you actually listened to the show you would find that he mainly responded to callers, who happen to largely be progressive, who pressed him on issues about his REPUBLICAN views on taxes, John McCain, Mitt Romney, and the definition of a conservative. The callers didn't need anyone's help to debate him. Would you prefer to hear a polished, unopposed "progressive" sitting there for two hours preaching to you or are you prepared for some debate? This may be hard for you, William and MoronInCharge to deal with, but there are people out there who disagree with you. There are people out there, like Michelle, Jeff Farias, Cynthia Black and I who do not unconditionally support Barack Obama simply because he is a Democrat. Does that mean our voices shouldn't be heard? The fact is that I am not a Democrat, but an independent and it is not my job or intention to defend Barack Obama. On other issues, like the ones you mentioned, I'm more than willing to take on the Bush administration's policies. The show is about ideas and different viewpoints and its audience will not be restricted to that of 1480 in the near future. If you do not want to listen, that is your choice, though I sense your "disappointment" regarding the show is due to reasons other than today's reparations topic. If you feel strongly about your views, call in. That's the point of the show. |

| Unfortunatelt I missed the show today. It seems some are afraid to hear the opposing view. I listen to stuttering Jeff's show almost everyday even though I disagree with most callers and most opinions. I like to hear what progressives are saying. I like to hear conservative talkers comments taken out of context to fire up the koolaid drinkers. (Plus the music rocks) I also listen to el Rushbo's show almost everyday and even though I agree with most opinions and callers I realize liberals comments are taken out of context to make a point and to fire up us neocon sheeple. I think they call it hyperbole. Thats how Randi Rhoads gets away with calling for Bush to get "Fredo'ed" and Malloy gets away with having "violent fantasies" about Dana Perino. And yes thats how Rush gets away with the "magic negro" parodies and the "justice brothers" commercials. So I have to say William, if I was exposed to any more of Leonard Clark than I already occurs, that my friend would be worse than waterboarding.(hyperbole) So dude don't be afraid of opposing views. It make life worth living. |

| No Bob, I was disappointed because I thought that wanting Russert to ask about black reparations was race baiting. Pure and simple. And the way things are looking right now, Obama is going to be the nominee. I don't see any reason to bring something like that up. His voting record, or lack thereof.....fine. His healthplan, war stance, taxes, education etc fine. Fair game. But Black reparations? Come on. Would you prefer to hear a polished, unopposed "progressive" sitting there for two hours preaching to you or are you prepared for some debate? when have I been afraid to debate? With you, Moron-in-Charge, Average American or anyone else. I was a frequent caller to your old show. I have been a very active participant on this site. So whats the problem? Was it that I wrote that I disagreed with Michelle's bringing up reparations? Ummm This may be hard for you, William and MoronInCharge to deal with, but there are people out there who disagree with you. Gee, thanks for that. Goes both ways Bob. For example, someone might disagree with a topic that you or another host brings up on the radio show. Thought that was the point of the entire exercise. There are people out there, like Michelle, Jeff Farias, Cynthia Black and I who do not unconditionally support Barack Obama simply because he is a Democrat. Does that mean our voices shouldn't be heard? Who said I unconditionally support Obama? If you do not want to listen, that is your choice, though I sense your "disappointment" regarding the show is due to reasons other than today's reparations topic. That would be wrong. I don't care who is on the show. I don't give a rats ass who does or doesn't contribute to this website (unless they are abusive). Just because I know a guy who knows a guy, who knows a guy doesn't mean jack s***. I do care when I hear something that I think is going to cause a problem for the cause I believe in....and right now that is getting a democrat elected to the presidency. The ONLY reason I didn't call in was because my Mom is here visiting and I didn't want her to hear me yelling at ya all on the phone. Give me a couple weeks when she leaves and I will be calling. (If I am still welcome, that is). Oh, and my comment regarding AA "spouting off" was regarding LAST WEEK when he went to commercial saying that "liberals don't respect the constitution" or something equally inflammatory. Hardly a peep when you guys returned to the air after the break. Michelle said something about it being a progressive radio station, but AA got his say without much resistance. Hope that clears things up for you. Especially, exactly why I was disappointed. |

The show has never banned anyone from calling in, not even William or Leonard Clark, who by the way was on hold when we ran out of time today. Our apologies to Leonard. Me getting away with anything was a bulls*** comment. Mike was right there and he too failed to call me on it. Don't get mad at Michelle. She does fine with what she has to do which is be a democrat on a progressive show when she herself isn't thrilled with where her party is taking her. None of us are pleased with the candidate pool for either side right now. As for your mom, put her on the phone too Indie. It might be fun to hear from someone who has never been exposed to the show. Wait I forgot, it is like that every weekend when William calls in. Down the road this show is going to grow. It is already moving around the country rather well. We got calls from Salt Lake Utah, Tennessee, North Carolina and locally. 1480 is a stepping stone to the real big picture int he next few months. Don't be surprised if the show attracts more conservatives to the site so that you can further grow in your beliefs by having much more than just me to debate. It's a win/win situation for all of us. As for my wet dream... I do enjoy doing this and I never denied it. Face it, you get hours each day of people saying exactly what you want to hear Indie. |

| Thanks Indie, yes, the 1st week's show, aa would drop bombs on the Dems, and no one in the booth had the nerve to just shove it back in his face. ie So, when Pres. Obama uses the Patriot Act to label the KKK as a terrorist organization, you'll be ok with the FBI rounding up all the dumb crackers with the Stars and Bars on their pick up, and torturing them right? OR So, ending habeas corpus, and subverting the Justice dept, why is it Republicans and conservatives hate America so much? What do they have to fear from the law? Are they all diaper wearing, pedophiles? I mean, the attacks write themselves, take a real, factual thing done by an elected, conservative republican, and label them all with it. Try it Doc Moron. Don 't be nice, all Republicans will still hate you because you're a liberal pinko commie fag, and a Jew. F#ck, 40% of the right would be glad to send us all to Gitmo, so don't worry about offending their fascist fat asses. |
